Its A Date - K.L.A.A.P - Chap 1

It's A Date! - Kaiba Land Animal Adventure Park!
Ordinary, all in all a very normal day a school. Nothing strange happened no Yuki and Kaiba being nice to each other, nothing. It was nice end to the week.
"Seto you are getting a car home right?" Tori asked putting her stuff in her locker.
"Yeah, Roland should be waiting for me. Why? I can drop you off like usual." the tall brunet replied leaning on his locker waiting patiently.
"Damn I was kind of hoping you was gonna walk today, I really want to walk. Thanks anyway" She slammed her locker and turned to Kaiba to see him looking her right in the eye. "What?"
"Have you got any plans for tomorrow?" He looked uncomfortable.
"Nope I never do. What about you? You busy Mr work-a-holic?" She asked with a grin.
"No I'm not busy, I have the day off. What I mean to say is …urrmm you want to go to…."Kaiba's attempts to hide his embarrassment failed.
"Seto are you asking me out?" tilting her head to get a better look at the boy's face. "You are aren't you!"
" I …err..no ..its just… just I know you like animals and me and Mokuba thought it was about time for us to expand the 'Kaiba land' franchise and well this time with a zoo. So I though you would like to be the first person to see it before it's opened to the public." Kaiba's cheeks ,try as they might not to show it, where very red.
A huge smile came to Tori's face. "You want to show me your zoo!  Just me, you and the animals!? Seto that would be brilliant!" Jumping up she flung her arms around his neck. "It IS a date! Pick me up at ten okay?" And with that she ran off home.
"I…er..Okay." As soon as Kaiba began to relax.
"So you finally asked her out hey rich boy?" a voice came from the top of the lockers.
"Damn it Tinker Bell! Did you hear all that?!" Kaiba shot death glares at the small girl on the locker.
Yuki scrambling to get down from the locker. "Bitch don't call me Tinker Bell! .. Right listen; If you do anything to upset her I will personally gut you! And don't think she won't tell me everything that happens!"
"To be fair short-stack if I up set her I'm pretty sure she will gut me herself." Grinning at the new nickname he just thought up to replace Tinker Bell.
"SHORT-STACK! That is it! … Wait get back here!" But Kaiba had already left for his car home. "Bastard!... Oh well I'll get him back at some point. Right now I have more pressing matters like where did I leave Marik?"

Opening her wardrobe Tori scanned her clothes. She was no usually one to plan what she was going to wear but tomorrow was different.  She grabbed her favourite out fit and laid it over the back of her chair. It was not a case of the clothes where pretty or she thought Kaiba would like them, no, she picked them because the where the most comfortable. She did not care for anything more than that.
"I can't wait I have not been to a zoo in japan! Not to mention we have the place all too ourselves! I need to make something to give Seto as a thank you." She then sat at her desk and pondered over a blank sheet of paper.

"Why now! You could have given me more notice! How am I meant to get this done in time to pick Tori up tomorrow!" Kaiba slammed his fists in to his office desk.
-knock- -knock-
"Oni-sama? Are you okay? I could hear your shouting from my room" Mokuba thought it wise to check on his brother after hearing him extremely loud rage quit.

"Ahh.. im sorry Mokii did I wake you?" Kaiba asked the small boy stood in his doorway.
"Oh, no it's okay. What's the matter big brother?" Mokuba asked still really worried.
"I have to finalize the two business deals with Fujashima publishing and Suzamura incorporated. It's just a lot of typing really; I don't have the time for it I've got to pick up Tori tomorrow at ten!"
A cheeky grin came to the smaller kaiba's face. "Oh so you are taking her out to our zoo then?"
"Shut up Mokuba! It's not like that!" Kaiba once again had a pick tinge coming to his cheeks.
Mokuba giggled, he could tell him brother was lying. "I can do it for you brother I have nothing to do tomorrow."
"No I'm fine I can get it done I just won't have that much sleep that's all."
Mokuba suddenly slammed shut Kaiba's lap top. "No go to bed! You won't be able to impresser her if you are moody and sleepy! If this goes badly you would have lost your chance with her!"
In shock Kaiba agreed to go to bed, not only because Mokuba had talked back at him but because he had lectured him on his love life.
The moment Kaiba had got ready for bed and his head hit the pillow he fell fast asleep. He was obviously a lot more tired than he though.

Tori leaned back in her chair; she had been drawing for 5 hours and was now at a point where she was con tent to finish. "Done… sorta. It's the best he's gonna be able to get today. I wish he had given me more than a nights notice then I could have done him something better."
She turned off her desk lamp and got ready for bed. She knew she needed a good nights sleep if she wanted to have fun tomorrow. After curling up in here bed she cuddled with her favourite stuffed animal, Nana the panda. "Tomorrow is gonna be so much fun Nana, wish me luck okay?" kissing her panda on the head she fell asleep.

Kaiba's maid opened the huge blue velvet curtains in his room letting the morning sun light stream in. The few rays that hit Kaiba's face woke him from his sleep.
"It is time to get up master, would you be wanting any breakfast today sir?" the maid asked politely.
Rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "Thank you Linda. Yes I would like two slices of toast and a coffee." Kaiba was a lot nicer to his staff than you would think, in fact he was on first name terms with all of them.
"Would you like you toast buttered today master?" Linda always had to ask, Kaiba's toast preferences often seemed to change.
"Yes. Thank you."
"Very good sir. Once you are ready it will be waiting for you in the breakfast room." She bowed and left leaving Kaiba to get ready.
He climbed out from under his blue silk sheets and headed for his on-sweet. Looking in the mirror his facial expression only spelled out on thing, nervous.

Tori had already got up and started to get ready. Walking back from the bathroom she hummed a tune that was strongly reminisant of a Naruto theme tune. After quickly drying off her short hair with her towel she got dressed in to her outfit she had laid out.
Once she had added all the random accessories she wanted Tori then realised her outfit did not look half bad. Starting from the bottom she had on here black and white Nike high-tops, a pair of fashionably ripped boy's jeans, a tight blue long sleeved shirt, checked rainbow over shirt and her homemade Pikachu jumper. With her boy's chain necklace and official army dog tags her outfit was set off perfectly.
"Tori!" Called her mother from down stairs. "Are you going out? It would have been nice to know about it!"
"Oh sorry I only found out yesterday and I totally forgot to tell you! Seto is takeing me to his zoo, im being picked up a ten!" Tori called back down.
"Okay sweet heart!"

Kaiba walked in too his breakfast room, toast and coffee waiting for him as expected. Linda was waiting paitiontly for Kaiba to give her instruction on what to do next. When it never cam she aked her self.
"will that be all for now master?"
"Yes thank you." Kaiba was still wakeing up.
"Do you have any plans for today sir?" Linda noticed if she wanted answers this morning she was going to have to ask the questions.
"Yes I'm going to be out most of the day. Also I would like you to set out another place at dinner we are expecting a guest."
"No problem master. Will that be all?"
"Could you tell Roland to bring the small car around front please? Thank you."
Using a bow as her answer she left to inform Roland.

Tori was now a 100% ready to go, however she still had to wait half an hour. Her and her mother doth were sat on the sofa watching Takeshi's Castle to pass the time.
All of a sudden her mother though of a question or 3? "what are you doing about breakfast today? Do you need money for lunch? Will you be back for dinner?"
Sighing tori rolled her eyes. "I won't need money, mum have you forgot how rich Seto is? But I will have to ask about the other two."
She pulled out her phone and text Kaiba
'Morning ^^
Does this zoo of yours have a good hot dog stand?
And I've been asked if I will be home for dinner.
Tori x'

Kaiba replied in a matter of seconds, as always.
'Morning ?
Yes it does, right by the main gate. Why?
No I'll sort you dinner tell your mother not to worry.

The only reply Kaiba got after that was 'I'm sonic the hedgehog.' This left the boy understandably confused.

"It's okay I'm gonna get a hot dog or two and I think I'm having dinner at his….Oooo that's gonna be fancy."

"Hotdogs?" her mother sighed. "Well okay then."

Tori glanced up at the clock it was about time for Kaiba to turn up. "humm let me see ive forgot something but what is it? SHIT!! Thats it! And i almost left without it!" She dashed up stairs not giving her mother a chance to even tell her not to swear.

In her room she frantically searched around for the gift she had made for Kaiba "Where is it? Stupid thing!"

-ding dong-
"Tori! Door! Want me to get it!?" her mother called up thinking she could not leave the young man outside and after he made all the effort to come pick her daughter up.
"Please! Tell him I'm just looking for something and I'll be down in a sec!!"  Calling down to her mother Tori was still searching.

Her mother wasted no time in answering the door and was greeted by extremely different type of boy than she was expecting.
"Good Morning Mrs Waller, is Tori ready to leave?" The look on the womans face made him wish he was not so polite.
"Come in, come in! Tori is just getting something from upstairs and please call me Shirley."

Upstairs tori finally found what she was looking for. "The bastard was blu tacked to the wall!! I cant belive it!" after retrieving it she hid it under her jumper and ran down stairs.
She was met with the odd sight of Kaiba trying his upmost hardest to convince Shirley i did not want a cut of tea or a slice of cheese cake.
"No..Shirley I'm fine really. ....Tori Help!" he said backing away from the crazy lady with the home made cheese cake.
"MUM! Stop it your scaring him.. Letts go Seto." She said opening the door to go.
"Do you have your phone? Your door key? And don't be back to late and rember to call if you're staying over okay!?"
"Yes Mum!" Tori replied wavering her phone and key at her as she left the door. Once the door was closed she turned to look at Kaiba. "im not staying over don't get any ideas!"
"I-I Wasn't!..."  The boy replied in shock that his mind had just been read.
"Give over! I know you were!"
Suddenly they heard Shirley voice again. "Tori! You better be nice to this one! He is handsome and has good manners i would not like to see you did to him what you did to the last one!"
"Okay! Bye mum! Now get back in the house!" Tori Shouted back not happy with here mothers last statement.
"T-the last one?" Kaiba asked worried.
Toris quickly replied. "its nothing don't worry .. Yay the Jag'!" and ran for the car.
"Tori wait!" Kaiba called as he ran after her.
